The Police in Edo State are investigating the killing of a suspected member of the Black Axe confraternity while his gay lover accused of the death is on the run for his life.
THE NIGERIAN OBSERVER learnt that the deceased, Osaro Akhigbe was shot by members of the Black Axe confraternity as a result of power tussle in the cult on December 19, 2018, but his gay lover Osarhiemen Ekogiawe Silver is being accused by the cultists for killing their member.
According to sources, both Osaro Akhigbe and Osarhiemen Ekogiawe Silver have been involve in the act of sodomy in Benin City before the unfortunate incident.
It was gathered that Osarhiemen Ekogiawe Silver was caught practicing sodomy in Abudu village, Edo State, where he was ostracized from the village because such act was against the custom and tradition of the community.
The source further revealed that on getting to Benin city Osarhiemen Ekogiawe Silver continued his act of sodomy with his partner, Osaro Akhigbe who was a member of the Black Axe confraternity.
“When Osaro was killed during an in fighting for power in the cult, some members of the cult group accused Osarhiemen of killing their member and they have mounted a man hunt for his life. The Black Axe confraternity members have made several attempts to kill Osarhiemen by going to Abuja where he narrowly escaped by jumping the fence of the building where he was residing with Mr. Olayinka,” the source added.
Inquiries made by the NIGERIAN OBSERVER at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department of the Nigeria Police, Edo State Command revealed that the where about of Osarhiemen Ekogiawe Silver who was advised to seek for succor for his safety while investigation continues is still unknown.
