As residents continued to panic, a member of NURTW told our correspondent that the clash that had unsettled Ijesha axis for several hours was said to be centered on who control NURTW in Ijesha.

The clash, according to a member of the NURTW, was orchestrated by one of the unit chairman, identified as Olorunlugo who aimed to overthrow the incumbent Ijesha branch chairman, Waheed Eshinlokun.

He added that the chairman of NURTW caretaker committee for Lagos, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly called MC Oluomo, is supporting Olorunlugo to overthrow Eshinlokun.
