BENIN CITY – The President of World Christian Fellowship, Worldwide, organisers of Nigeria National Prayer and Fasting, Prophet Okoduwa Atorkpa has unveiled what he considered the solution to the ravaging global epidemic, coronavirus, otherwise called Covid-19.
Prophet Okoduwa who disclosed this in his Airport Road Office in Benin City in an interview with newsmen yesterday said the solution to the coronavirus as revealed to him by God lies in the Bible book of Psalm 91:10 where God expressly stated that “there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plaque come high they dwelling.”
According to the man of God, “the solution to coronavirus has come through the Word of God. I want the world to embrace this message and to believe that it will work for anybody who accepts it as a personal revelation.”
“The first thing the Lord told me about the coronavirus is that it is the spirit of death and the second thing he said about it, is that it is a plague. On further inquiry, I got to know the meaning of these two words and the solution to coronavirus”, he said.
Prophet Okoduwa who described the plague as a “finger of God” exacted on the people who have gone astray from God said the plague is actually the spirit of death which can only be averted by God himself, adding that God has instructed that “special anointing” be conducted by men of God who are into the five-fold ministry in order to avert the plague.
He urged government at all levels to liase with the church to anoint the people, by providing stadia to church leaders into the five-fold ministry to conduct the anointing services, adding that governments, banks, corporate organisations should sponsor the prayer and anointing programmes.
The Christian cleric who explained the three levels of anointing emphasised that for those who are in Christ, the Triumph of Christ by the finished works of calvary guarantees safety from the coronavirus as well.
On government regulation that not more than twenty people should gather at any time to avoid the virus, Prophet Okoduwa commended government for its measures, but was quick to add that the church should be allowed to do its work of prayers and fasting, adding that even governments need the presence of God to be able to help the people.
While describing those in government as ministers of God too, Prophet Okoduwa stated that the current plague is beyond man, as only God has the solution though the revelation of the Holy Spirit. He urged everyone to rise up in prayers to seek the face of God and bring down his mercies upon mankind, saying that the mercy of God has truimped over his judgement on the world.
