BENIN CITY – The Edo State Government will conduct physical verification and headcount for volunteers under the Edo State Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) scheme in Edo South Senatorial District from Wednesday, November 25th to Friday, November 27th, 2020.
In a statement, Coordinator, PUWOV Scheme, Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie, said the exercise was compulsory and those who fail to participate risk dismissal from the scheme.
He added that the exercise would take place at Imaguero College Hall, on Sapele Road, Benin City, the Edo State capital.
According to him, “The Edo State Government hereby announces the commencement of a compulsory physical verification and head count for PUWOV personnel in Edo South.
“The schedule of the exercise is as follows: Day 1: Wednesday 25th Nov, 2020: Orhionmwon Local Government Area (LGA) and Uhunmwonde LGA; Day 2: Thursday, 26th November, 2020: Ovia South West LGA and Ovia North East LGA; Day 3: Friday 27 November, 2020: Ikpoba Okha, Egor and Oredo LGAs.”
