In furtherance of efforts to ease the clearing of weeds and bushes in government schools in Esan West Local Government Area (LGA) of Edo State, a leading philanthropist and community supporter has donated brush cutters to schools in the area. A brush cutter is a powered garden or agricultural tool used to trim weeds, small trees, and other foliage not accessible by a lawn mower or rotary mower.

The philanthropist, “entrepreneur” Dennis Ainabel Iseghohimen, is the founder and Director of Nicholas Auto Solution (NAS), www.nicholasautosolution.co.za, Founder, ROTBW Foundation www.rotbwfoundation.com and other Businesses
According to him, “I am passionate about education and ease of access to education. The purchase and distribution of the brush cutters is meant to provide tools to make the job of clearing of bushes in the beneficiary schools easier and faster for the students.” He added that with the speed of the brush cutter, the students can be done with clearing on time and have more time for academic activities in the school.

The Brush cutters

He revealed that in the first instance, he bought Maxmech gasoline brush cutter for the government schools in the Illeh Ekpoma community of Edo State Esan West Local Government. The schools in this phase are Imule Primary School and Illeh Primary School and Illeh Secondary School.

In his words, “I want to see my community happy No day passes-by without thinking of the development of my Community. I believe that the development of the community must not start from the government as the community is not for the government, it is inheritance from our fore-fathers.”

Mr. Iseghohimen called on other well-meaning individuals to support the government’s effort to improve the quality of life in communities across not just Esan West but also the whole Edo State.

The items were received with great excitement and jubilation by the elders of the community with words of praise, commendations and prayers for Mr Iseghohimen from the men, women and youths.
