SABONGIDDA-ORA, EDO STATE – The pan-Ora Socio-Cultural Organisation, the Ora-Ekpen Development Association (ODA), has fixed Saturday 15 May, 2021 as date to honour an illustrious son of Ora, Prof Dominic Afeisimi Badaiki over the conferment of Senior Advocate of Nigeria on him by the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

A press statement issued by the President of Ora-Ekpen Development Association, ODA, Sir D. A. D. Igboin, said Professor Badaiki, a former Dean, Faculty of Law, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma has made the Ora nation proud by his numerous scholastic and professional achievements and that the conferment of Senior Advocate of Nigeria on him was the icing on the cake.

“We are proud of our son, Dominic Afeisimi Badaiki SAN, a Professor of Law at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma because he has made the entire Ora Clan proud with his numerous scholastic and academic achievements. He has also severally contributed to the growth and development of Ora nation, hence the decision of the generality of our Association, the ODA to honour him on the 15th of May 2021,” Sir D.A.D Igboin stated.

He called on all sons and daughters of Ora as well as friends and well-wishers of Professor Badaiki to be physically present at the ODA Social Centre Complex located along Sabongidda-Ora-Eme-Ora Road, Sabo-Ora where the event is scheduled to hold.

The event is billed to commence at 12:00p.m. as, according to the statement, several dignitaries are expected at the event which will also be used to discuss the development of the entire Ora community.

Sir D. A. D Igboin further called on Ora’s sons and daughters both at home and in Diaspora to join hands in the physical, social and political development of the entire Ora clan and its people, particularly the army of unemployed youths.
