Asaba – The Financial Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Delta State, Hon. Collins Bello, has said that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa had redefined governance in the state.

Hon. Bello made the assertion during his monthly financial empowerment to some PDP members in ward 6, Oki Community in Ika South Local Government area of Delta State.

According to him, “Governor Okowa has fulfilled his promise to Deltans through massive developmental and transformational strides across the state. He has redefined governance through his sterling leadership prowess.

“The Governor of Delta state and Vice-Presidential candidate of the PDP has given us the enablement to give back to our constituents. We have been empowered to empower others.”

Speaking further, Hon. Bello who is also the Chairman, Delta State Art and culture, assured the party faithful in all the units of ward 6 of benefiting from the grant without sentiment.

Continuing, he urged them to ensure they got their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) and mobilise all their eligible family members to vote the PDP in the 2023 general elections in the country.

“Ward 6 remains a stronghold of our great party, the PDP, in the locality and we must live up to expectations. It is now a taboo for any one in our ward not to have a PVC,” he stated.

Two aides to the Delta Governor , Hon. , Mrs Onyesom Favour and Mr. Sonnet Ichazu, who supervised the disbursement, charged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds and keep faith with the Okowa-led government and PDP.

One of the beneficiaries , Mrs Felicia Nwaonicha, commended Hon. Bello for the financial grants that had been going on for almost a year now.

“At last, I have benefited. I am grateful to God, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Hon. Collins Bello for this gesture,” she stated.
