The Edo State Primary Health Care Development Agency(EDSPHCDA) has commenced an integrated awareness campaign on Covid-19 vaccination across various Local Government Areas of the State to address the populace on Covid -19 vaccination.
Speaking at the rally held during the week at Etsako West LGA, the Principal Health Education Officer, Etsako West LGA, Mr. Goodluck I. Uwenuyi asserted that the only way to obtaining maximum protection against Corona virus is to get vaccinated.
Mr. Goodluck further explained that Corona virus is deadly and easily spread from person to person, hence the need to get fully vaccinated.
He affirmed that the only way to curb the spread of Covid-19 is to get vaccinated, noting that lots of persons across the state and the country at large have lost their lives to Covid-19.
Mr. Goodluck Uwenuyi reiterated that Covid-19 vaccines are safe and effective for maximum protection against the deadly Corona Virus, adding that the eligible age frame for Covid-19 vaccines is from 18years and above.
He further added that mobile Vaccination team are available in market places, mosques, churches, motor and bike parks for easy accessibility.
The health Educator therefore, urged that those that are yet to be vaccinated should access the nearest health center for vaccination as the vaccines have been made available for free in every health centers across the state.
Meanwhile, Supportive Supervision of Scales 3.0 strategy for accelerating Covid-19 vaccination was carried out at Igueben.
While at Eguare Igueben bike park, the Covid-19 vaccines were made available for on the spot vaccination.
