The Edo State House of Assembly on Tuesday adopted a resolution confirming the nomination of Dr.Felix Ogedegbe and Dr.Izedome Omosigho as the Chairman and the executive secretary of the Edo State Primary Healthcare Agency.

The adoption of the resolution confirming the nominees was sequel to the presentation and consideration of the report of the house committee on rules,business and government house on the screening of the two nominees as Chairman and the executive secretary of the Edo State Primary Healthcare Agency.

Presenting the report of the house committee on rules business and government house for consideration,the Chairman Henry Okhuarobho said the report has a 5- point findings and 1-point recommendation.

The House in a motion moved by Hon.Henry Okhuarobho and seconded by Hon.Roland Asoro,Deputy Speaker resolved into a committee of the whole to consider the report.

The nominees,according to the findings,were academically and professionally qualified for the respective jobs.

Parliament following its deliberations on the report at the committee of the whole adopted the 1-point recommendation that the nominees be confirmed as Chairman and executive secretary of the Edo State Primary Healthcare Agency.

Meanwhile,the Speaker, Rt.Hon.Marcus Onobun in his submission directed the Clerk of the House, Mr.Yahaya Omogbai to forward clean copies of the resolution to the government for his assent.
