The December 31st New Year’s Eve Service with the Man of God, Rev Dr Chris Oyakhilome is the largest global service on the last day of the Year, with great expectations of the soon coming of the Lord Jesus.

2022 episode of the New Year’s Eve Service was preluded with much pomp as tit bits of what to expect from this annual epochal program, was availed global audience during the World Press Conference to promote the program.

The World Press Conference which held 28 December 2022 by the Loveworld Nation aka Christ Embassy, hosted several media houses through terrestrial and satellite stations. The Panel which consisted of top delegates from the Loveworld Ministry provided vital information of the annual program and provided answers to Questions.

Then came the much awaited day, December 31st 2022, as teeming crowds gathered at different Christ Embassy churches globally, as well as various stadia, parks, compounds and diverse viewing centres in different cities and towns to participate in this momentous service and receive God’s Word to them for the coming year from the lips of God’s prophet to the nations, Pastor Chris.

The arrival of the Man of God, Rev Dr Chris Oyakhilome was greeted with much excitement from the onsite congregation at the Loveworld Crusade Grounds in Asese, Lagos, Nigeria.

The Man of God led the global audience to render the calves of their lips in utmost gratitude for the awesome testimonies wielded throughout the year. Having surmounted all the wiles and sinister plots of the adversary. The Loveworld singers led the teeming audience to offer melodies praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for all His wondrous works.

The night was also a night to recognize young African champions in a special segment of the service dubbed the Future Africa Leaders’ Award (FALA) segment, where young people from different African countries were recognized and honoured for their ingenuity and dogged commitment towards developing the continent.

After series of citation of the amazing achievements from the 10 top nominees for this award, the Star Prize Winner, Lebsey Petmia, was selected from Cameroun.

All nominees were appreciated for their contributions to Nation building by the founder of the Future African Leaders Foundation, Rev Dr. Chris Oyakhilome with mouth-watering cash sums. This segment of the award was similarly graced by the erstwhile President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who was also the Chairman of the occassion, His Excellency President Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr Leyman Gbowee, President Gbowee Peace Foundation, Liberia.

As the clock approached midnight and the year 2022 fizzled to a close, the Man of God, Rev Chris Oyakhilome, launched the global audience once again to sessions of praise, worship and prayer. The much awaited shouts of “Happy New Year” heralded several venues around the world hooked up to the service at the Asese Base.

In His message to the world transmitted LIVE, in translated in several languages, via all LoveWorld networks, several terrestrial TV/Radio stations across the globe, the President of the Loveworld Nation, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, (DSc, DD) challenged the Church to function “as a kingdom and not as an organisation”.

He shared from several scriptures, which include, Hebrews 7:24; 6:16-20, Rev. 1:4-6 and 1 Peter 2:9. He announced that 2023 is a “Time of Decision for the World”, a time for many to choose between life and death, with the soon coming of Christ closer than ever before.

He however, announced that the Year 2023 is the year of THE PROLIFIC CHURCH. He further expounded on this message as he highlighted three key areas believers will be required to prioritize:

1. To Prioritise the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
2. To Prioritise the Word of God.
3. Learn to use the Name of The Lord Jesus.
