The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) began uploading of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly election results on its results viewing portal late Saturday.

This followed an outcry from some concerned Nigerians who called out INEC for flouting its promise that it would upload results of elections in different polling units across the country as they are sorted, counted, and collated.

TRIBUNE ONLINE reports that the INEC chairman, Yakubu Mahmoud, had on November 22 last year said there was no going back on its decision to upload the results of the 2023 general elections on its portal to enable Nigerians to have a real-time view of the results as they are being collated.
