ASABA: The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Dr. Frank Nwugo, has congratulated the member representing Ika Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Victor Nwokolo, on his victory at the February 25 election.

Dr. Nwugo stated this in an interview with newsmen at Boji-Boji Owa, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State. According to him, “Ika North East remains the headquarters of PDP. We give God all the glory for the victory. Against all odds and by the help of God, our brothers Hon. Nwokolo and Hon. Ned Nwoko won.

“Hon. Nwokolo’s wealth of experience in the Green Chambers will enable him attract more development to Ika Nation,” he stated.

Dr. Nwugo, who is the Director General, Revenue Tracking, Monitoring and Audit in Delta State, said “PDP has retained its slot in the Green Chambers and it means a lot for us in this locality.”

Also speaking, a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Youth Mobilization, Hon. Jude Ugboh, said Hon. Nwokolo’s victory was for the people.

“As a member representing Ika Federal Constituency, Hon. Nwokolo has contributed to the growth and development of the people,” he stated.

Hon. Victor Nwokolo of PDP polled a total of 27,943 votes to defeat his closet opponent, Nwanne Utomi of the Labour Party who scored 20,473 votes.
