Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin arrived Gombe state capital on Friday evening ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) week16 match with Gombe Utd.

The Benin Arsenals flew into the North Eastern state capital aboard Airpeace Boeing 737-500 which torched down the Gombe International Airport at 5:02 PM.

The Airplane departed Lagos at about 2:27 PM and arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja for a brief transit enroute Gombe at about 3:20 PM.

Insurance FC defeated ABS FC of Ilorin 1-0 in the 2023 Federation Cup round of 64 in Lagos on Wednesday afternoon and are now focused on the NPFL week 16 cracker.

The Benin Arsenals are primed to be the first team to secure Super Six place. A win at Gombe Utd is enough for them to fight for the league title and continental ticket.
