Following the conclusion of supplementary elections nationwide and the declaration of winners, the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will present Certificates of Return to Adamawa State Governor-elect, Ahmadu Fintiri, and his Kebbi State counterpart, Dr. Nasir Idris, together with their deputy governors-elect, on Tuesday, April 19, at 3 PM.
INEC, in a message via its Twitter handle, also said that members of the National Assembly-Elect (Senators and House of Representatives) will receive their certificates from 11 AM on Tuesday, April 19, at the Conference Room, INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja.
The Commission, however, urge members of State Houses of Assembly- Elect to contact State offices for their Certificates.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted supplementary Governorship elections in Adamawa and Kebbi States, 5 Senatorial, 32 Federal, and 58 State Assembly constituencies on Saturday, 15th of April 2023.
