The Director of Youth Mobilization, Ministry of Youths and Humanitarian Affairs, Victor Asiriuwa, has urged youths in the state to promote spirit of oneness at all times and contribute to the developmental efforts of the state government to make Edo State Great Again.

He made the appeal during the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN Edo State Chapter election held in Benin City, which led to the emergence of Moses Agwinede Joseph as chairman.

While assuring that the state government will continue to focus on the youths, the Director of Youths noted that the state governor, Godwin Obaseki is interested that there is peace and unity among the youths across the state

“The Council is a training ground for youths and the future of the country is in their hands. I also appreciate the caretaker committee and the delegates from across the state who came to cast their votes,” he added.

The returning officer, Dr. Bethel Oko-Jaja from the headquarters announced the results after the election by 189 delegates.
