Senator Okowa’s aide, Tagbarha Malcolm, says Oborevwori is primed and well positioned to consolidate on Okowa’s achievements in Delta State.

Malcolm, multi-award-winning writer and the author of the popular book in Delta political circles, “The Man Okowa,” made the statement ahead of the May 29th 2023 inauguration of the new administration in the state.

He restated the preparedness of the incoming Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, to consolidate on the massive developmental milestones of Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.

Malcolm, who also was the pioneer Chief Press Secretary to Sapele LGA Council and State Publicity Secretary, Coalition for Media Politics and Governance, (CMPG), noted that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, grew through the ranks before becoming the longest serving Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.

He added that the fact that the State House of Assembly worked seamlessly with the executive arm over the years, underscores his preparedness to effectively consolidate on the massive developmental milestones of the outgoing governor.

He then re-assured young and upwardly mobile Deltans that Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, will obviously engage young Deltans in his administration as promised during the electioneering campaigns.

The USAID/International Republican Institute(IRI), campaign trainer, also averred that the unpopular, unprepared loser and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, rode on the back of media hype and propaganda enroute the governorship election, while the popular and prepared candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, and now governor-elect, traversed the length and breadth of Delta State building trust with the people, during the campaigns, adding that the results at the polls is a clear reflection of his capacity, popularity and preparedness to take Delta State to greater heights.

Malcolm reiterated his plea to the DSP Ovie Omo-Agege, to graciously make the ‘golden’ call to congratulate the Delta governor-elect, and thus join him to build the Delta of our dreams.

He profoundly thanked the state chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Olorogun (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso, for taking timely steps to influence both human and infrastructural development to Sapele in particular and Delta State in general.
