Members of the Association of Registered Political Parties (ARPP) have said that the victory and successful swearing-in of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was a complete act of God.
The members made the remarks shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor and his deputy in Asaba.
The group who spoke through the chairman, Comrade Godwin Omorovwon thanked God for the successful swearing-in of the Governor and his deputy, saying that Oborevwori was destined to govern Delta state.
While saying that the Governor and his deputy, Chief Monday Onyeme have the needed experience to move the state to a greater height, they opined that Delta would witness tremendous development under the watch of Rt Honourable Oborevwori.
They noted that Governor Oborevwori has the interest of the entire state at heart, calling on others who contested with him to see his victory as a victory for Democracy and join hands with him to develop the state.
Comrade Omorovwon said the Association of Registered Political Parties was solidly behind the Governor and his team for the purpose of development of the state.
Comrade Sanco John and Madam Dorcas Idehen, who are both senior members of the group, described Oborevwori as a goal-getter, adding that Deltans would enjoy more prosperity from his administration calling on Deltans to give needed support to the new administration.
