The Ogun State Government has constituted a 34-member Steering Committee to oversee the May 29 inauguration of Governor Dapo Abiodun and his deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, for their second term in office.

The Inauguration Steering Committee is headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by Kunle Somorin, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

The membership of the Steering Committee includes Sen. Gbenga Obadara, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, Rt. Hon. Egbetokun, Mr. Debola Sofela, Apostle Abiodun Sanyaolu, Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo, Hon. Ola Kukoyi, Alhaja Salmot Badru, Chief (Mrs) Yetunde Onanuga, Hon. Yemi Adelani, Hon. Babatunde Olaotan, Alhaji Waheed Odusile, Hon. Remmy Hazzan, Mrs. Funmi Efuwape, Mrs. Tafawa Balewa, Hon. Hakeem Amosun, Hon. Sheriff Yusuf, Mrs. Ronke Ogunremi, and Hon. Adijat Adeleye.

Other members are Dr. Tomi Coker, Hon. Tolu Bankole, Hon. Latifat Ajayi, Hon. Biyi Adeleye, Mrs. Aminat Adigun, Mrs. Ayotunde Lawal Okupe, Com. Tunde Oladunjoye, Chief Michael Anuoluwapo Akinlose, Hon. Femi Ilori-Oduntan, Mrs. Oyindamola Oyelese Adesina, Gen. Bamidele Shafa, Hon. Tope Kuyebi, Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, and Hon. Babatunde Emilola-Gazal.

The Steering Committee is responsible for supervising other sub-committees for the inauguration ceremonies, Somorin said.
