The Clerk of the National Assembly, Sani Magaji Tambawal, has notified Senators-Elect and Honourable Members-Elect that the Inauguration of the 10th National Assembly will hold on Tuesday, 13 June 2023 at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
A release signed by the clerk said the inauguration follows the proclamation of the 10th Assembly by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The release also stated that, all Distinguished Senators-Elect and Honourable Members-Elect are required to come along with their Code of Conduct Clearance, Certificates of Return and valid I.D cards for Registration at 10.am on Monday, 12 June 2023 at the House of Representatives Conference Room 301 and Senate Conference Room 231 respectively.
Recall that the 9th Assembly, which was inaugurated on 11 June 2019 formally, came to a close on 10 June 2023.
