A middle-aged barber, simply identified as Otubong, has gone to the great beyond via libido enhancement drugs. The incident took place at the Mile 2 area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, just as the development sent panic across the neighbourhood.
It was gathered that, Otubong, on Friday, breathed his last after an alleged sex romp with a female partner.
The Nigerian Observer gathered that the man was seen on Thursday evening ushering the lady into his room in the densely populated area to satisfy his libidinal urge. Sources said there were indications that the middle-aged man had ingested some sex enhancement drugs, besides liquor to have a sustained romp the Thursday night.
By today Friday morning, one of his neighbours who went to check on him found his door unlocked but, the lady who had “engaged” late Otubong in the sex escapade was nowhere to be found.
“It was early this morning (Friday) that one of his neighbours went to his house to collect something and saw that the door was open.
“He said after knocking and calling his name without a response that he decided to go and see the man.
“So, seeing something awkward, he shouted and immediately rushed out and informed other residents of what he has seen. People now came, took him, and went to report the matter to other neighbours,” a neighbour was quoted as saying.
It was learnt that, two black ‘bullet’ drinks, two packs of tramadol and another sex-enhancing drug were found in his room.
The incident attracted residents from nearby streets, who thronged out to confirm what they heard before the matter was later reported to the Azikiwe Police Station in Port Harcourt.
As of press time, the Rivers Police Command Spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, has yet to speak on the incident.
