The Primary Healthcare Centre at Ugbolokposo in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State has been burgled.
One of the staff of the center, who spoke with newsmen on anonymity, said the unknown burglar scaled over the fence of the health center at night and removed one of the burglary proof of a window to access the store where solar light facilities awaiting installation were kept and made away with them.
According to her, the state government bought solar light facilities for all the primary health centers in the 25 Local Government areas in the state to enhance effective service delivery in the health sector.
While appealing to the relevant authorities to provide security for the burgled health center to prevent future occurrences, she disclosed that there had been previous burglaries in the center. She stated that the incident had been reported to the appropriate authorities in the Local Government council.
