Christian Pulisic is set to rejoin his former Chelsea teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek as AC Milan are close to completing the signing of the American for a yet-to-be-disclosed fee, Football London reports.

The 24-year-old will be AC Milan’s second signing for the Premier League side in this summer transfer window having already signed Loftus Cheek.

The tricky winger has failed to live up to his potential at Chelsea since his signing from Borussia Dortmund for a transfer fee of £58million in 2019, and this can be attributed to his lack of fitness and incessant injuries which have characterized his time at Stamford Bridge.

His injuries and below-par performances in recent times have resulted in his relegation to the bench and subsequent lack of game time, playing 24 games for the London side last season and starting only 16.

Pulisic scored only 1 goal and assisted the same in the 22/23 Premier League season.

Pulisic has been spotted arriving in Milan as the club’s social media channels recorded him at the airport ahead of his medical. Pulisic has also sent a message to his new fans in a video clip posted on Milan’s Instagram story; “Hi AC Milan supporters, it’s Christian Pulisic, I’ve just arrived in Milan, I’m so excited to be here and I can’t wait to get started.”
