Christians have been charged to always focus on Christ, the source of all good, so as to attain new dimensions of blessings.
Reverend Faith Emmanuel Benson Idahosa II of Church of God Mission, House of Grace, Benin City, gave the charge on Sunday during a sermon themed ‘New dimensions’.
Using the book of Genesis 13:14 as anchor scripture, the preacher admonished the church never to lose their focus on Christ and to also work so God can bless them.
On the rising cost of living in the country today, he said even as the the bar of necessities are raised, also God will raise his bar of provisions(testimonies) for the church.
Earlier, one of the clergy, Pastor Jude, announced “Focus on Christ for overflowing joy and testimony” as the theme for the month of July.
The church also organised a send-off for the resident pastor, Kenneth Obarisiagbon. They equally launched two books written by the outgoing pastor titled ‘Shark in the fish’ and ‘Fighting Temptation’.
