In accordance with section 147 subsection 2 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded names of ministerial nominees to the Senate for onward screening and confirmation.
The list was contained in a letter the President sent to the Senate.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio said that the list would be forwarded to the committee of the whole for screening and confirmation, noting that the list is not exhaustive.
