In what has proven to be the biggest twist of the transfer window so far, Moises Caicedo sealed a staggering British transfer record move to Chelsea from Brighton after several bids. Brighton had already accepted Liverpool’s £110m bid only for Caicedo to turn down the move to Merseyside to finally get his dream move to Chelsea.

2. Declan Rice (West Ham to Arsenal) – £105m

Declan Rice finally got the move he wanted. After guiding West Ham to their first ever European trophy last season, the defensive midfield Linchpin was subject of a bidding war between Arsenal and Manchester City. Arsenal won the war in the end, reaching a £105m deal with West Ham for the English man.

3. Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid) – £88m, potentially rising to £115m

The 20-year-old English man finally sealed a sensational transfer to Real Madrid after three brilliant years in Germany that saw him win Bundesliga Player of the Year last season.

4. Harry Kane (Tottenham to Bayern Munich) – £86m, potentially rising to £104m

The England captain completed a Bundesliga record move to Bayern Munich to end his 19-year association with his boyhood club. Kane scored a club’s record 280 goals for Tottenham before sealing a move to join the Bavarian giants.

5. Josko Gvardiol (RB Leipzig to Manchester city) – £77m

The 21-year-old Croatian completed a move to Manchester City, making him the second most expensive centre back in the world.

6. Neymar Dos Santos (Paris Saint Germain to Al Hilal) – £77m

In what is now the most audacious transfer move this summer, the Brazilian playmaker is ending his 10-year spell in Europe to become yet another football’s superstar to move to Saudi Arabia this summer.

Neymar is reportedly set to a earn a staggering €150m a year at Al Hilal, with club additionally paying £77m transfer fee to PSG for his services.

7. Rasmus Hojlund (Atalanta to Manchester United) – £73m with add-ons included

9. Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Leipzig to Liverpool) – £60m

Liverpool triggered the Hungarian midfielder’s £60m release clause to make him their fourth most expensive buy of all time. Szoboszlai fills the void left by the departures of Naby Keita and Oxlade Chamberlain.

10. Mason Mount (Chelsea to Manchester United) – £55m plus £5m add-ons

The 24-year-old English man turned down several contract renewal offers from Chelsea to seal a move to Manchester United in a deal that could potentially rise to £60m with add-ons.
