The Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration in Edo State on Saturday commissioned the John Odigie-Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA) established for the upskilling and retooling of the state’s public and civil servants for greater efficiency and excellent service delivery.

The event was also in honour of Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, after whom the academy was named. Chief Odigie-Oyegun’s birthday anniversary falls on the same day.
