The presidential candidate, of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday made an appearance at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal for the adoption of the final addresses of his Petition before the tribunal.

Atiku was accompanied to court by the Acting National Chairman of the party, Umar Damagum and the Acting National Secretary of the party among other party members.

The Counsels to Peoples Democratic Party, Labour Party and the Independent National Electoral Commission, are all adopting written addresses today, Tuesday, Aufust 1, 2023 before the panel.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku, and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, had in their separate petitions prayed the court to challenge the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25, presidential election.

The court, on July 5, concluded its hearing of both Atiku and Obi’s petitions.

Counsels are currently debating their written addresses.
