Stunning Hollywood star actress Selena Gomez has joined the ever-expanding roster of A-list celebrities who are fans of Inter Miami’s legendary player Lionel Messi.
Gomez, an actor and pop artist, is now in the company of celebrities such as LeBron James, Serena Williams, and actor Owen Wilson who have been sighted in the DRV PNK Arena stands watching Messi perform in the MLS.
Messi, ever since he joined Inter Miami, has continued to grow in popularity in the MLS and to draw Hollywood stars.
LeBron James, the star of the LA Lakers, attended a Messi game for the second time, together with Jason Sudeikis, the star of “Ted Lasso”, and American singer-actress Selena Gomez.
Gomez was in attendance as Inter Miami recorded a 3-0 victory against LA FC in Los Angeles.
Messi, who has just made 11 games in all competitions with a mind-blowing 11 goals and five assists, did not score against LA FC but bagged two assists for Inter Miami in the victory.
Gomez was among the select few who did not witness Messi score in the United States, but she still had a romantic message for the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.
A fan urged her to deliver a message to the Argentina captain after the game.
When asked to describe her feelings for him, Gomez answered right away, “Oh yes, I love you very much.”
