In collaboration with Ososiomo Power, the Governor Obaseki-led administration has taken a tremendous step in ending the epileptic power supply at the Edo State Medical Stores by installing the Ososiomo Power Transformer Project powering the entire complex including the State Cold Store.

This will bring to an end many years of epileptic power supply to the State Cold Store, an important facility responsible for safeguarding life-saving vaccines, essential drugs and commodities for the state.

For many years, the State Cold Store had grappled with unreliable electricity supply, posing a constant challenge to preserving vaccines at the appropriate temperature. But thanks to the forward-thinking leadership of Governor Nogheghase Obaseki and the pragmatic approach of Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen, Executive Secretary, Edo State Primary Health Care Development Agency, this issue has now been effectively addressed.

While speaking to the press during the installation at the State Medical Stores the Executive Secretary, EDSPHCDA Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen stated the installation is not just a technical accomplishment; it is a life-saving endeavour that will positively impact the health of countless individuals throughout the state.

Dr. Omosigho expressed his profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki for the initiative.
