Residents of Ogbemudia Camp, Igieduma Ward, defied the rains to welcome the Executive Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Kenneth Adodo, to the farm settlement.

Men, women and children trooped out to receive the Council Chairman and his entourage, describing it as a rare privilege. They thanked the Chairman for efforts to address the challenges of the people.

In his speech, the Council boss thanked the people for the reception. He said he was on a family visit to interact with the people and redeem his promise to the farm settlement during the electioneering campaign.

He informed that after the rains, the Council would commence work on the community borehole and expansion of the road leading to the camp from Innaerua community.

The Council Chairman was thrilled by a special performance by pupils of Beulah Nursery and Primary School and commended the school proprietor for the excellent learning conditions.

He was accompanied on the visit by the Secretary to the Local Government, Mr Lucky Oseye, and the Head Department of Works, Engr. Edosa.
