The special committee set up by the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) to reduce the 29 governorship aspirants angling to pick the party’s ticket has concluded their report.
The committee headed by Hon. Julius Ihonvbere, disclosed that six aspirants have scaled through the first hurdle and cleared to commence their campaign and partake in the February 17, 2024, primary election.
Those that have made the list are:
1. Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe (Owan East Local Government Area)
2. Prince Clem Agba (Etsako East Local Government Area)
3. Mr. Lucky Imasuen (Ovia North East Local Government Area)
4. Mr. Dennis Idahosa (Ovia South West Local Government Area)
5. Dr. David Imuse (Esan West Local Government Area)
6. Senator Monday Okpebholo (Esan Central Local Government Area).
All the aspirants will be invited on Saturday to meet with the APC leaders in Abuja.
