The 13th African Games, Accra 2023 kicks off in Ghana with seven national teams in the women’s division gearing for the highly-anticipated showdown.

Since Congo hosted the first edition of the African Games (formerly All African Games) in 1965, the competition has
grown into a bigger continental multi-sport fiesta.

The 13th edition of the continental competition will take place at Accra’s Cape Coast Sports Stadium between 08 – 23 March.

Hosts nattion Ghana and seven other countries that participated in the fourth qualifying rounds of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022 will participate in the competition.

Nigeria will play Morocco in the opening game while Ghana takes on Ethiopia on the first game of the following day.

Ghana (Hosts), Ethiopia, Morocco, Nigeria, Uganda, Senegal, Tanzania.
