…imbibe Christ values, she urges Nigerians

Few months after conferring a High Chief title on Hon. (Princess) Benedicta Attoh for her laudable developmental stride across Etsako East Local Government, again the Okumagbe of Uwanno Kingdom, Dr George Eghabor, last weekend bestowed another highly esteemed title of Senior High Chief O’thegbechiogie of Uwanno Kingdom on the chairman of Etsako East Local Government in a carnival-like well-attended programme at the Okumagbe’s palace.

According to the traditional interpretation, the O’thegbechiogie means the one whose body touches a king. It is believed that the one whose body touches the king always finds favour from the king with all-round peace.

While expressing her appreciation to the Okumagbe, the Queen, and the people of Uwanno Kingdom, Hon. Princess Attoh thanked the monarch for recognizing her efforts as chairman, describing the monarch as a dependable father and a world-class educated monarch, very intelligent and the people’s person.

When asked why she was given multiple chieftaincy titles in quick succession by the Okumagbe of Uwanno Kingdom, the chairman said she also needed someone to answer the same question for her as she has been focused on her duty in serving her people.

“The applause of the masses is not a call to shrink from duty but a call to remain dedicated and steadfast in bringing meaningful development to the people,” she said.
