The National President of the Niger Delta Students’ Union Government (NIDSUG), Comr. Scott Ogunseri, has pleaded with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to rise up and halt the disorder ravaging Okuama and Okoloba communities in Delta State.

Ogunseri made the plea on Saturday during a press conference at the union’s national secretariat.

He decried the current situation in the communities, saying school children were the most affected as they can no longer go to school.

“I plead with the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tunubu, to rise up to the occasion and save the people of Okuama and Okoloba Communities in Delta State and allow the students in certificate classes to participate in the forthcoming national examinations that are knocking at the door,” Ogunseri said.

“The ongoing disorder has really affected the school children who share a bigger portion of the current sufferings in their land. They have been at home for ages now due to discombobulation present in these communities.
