Iyora community electrification project, in Etsako West Local Government Area, has received a significant boost with the payment of 10 percent counterpart funding by the Council Chairman, Hon. Marvelous Muhizu Zibiri. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Edo State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), aims to provide reliable electricity and enhance the quality of life for residents.
The Chairman expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Edo State, HE Godwin Obaseki for his consistent support and responsiveness to the needs of communities across the state. He emphasized that this collaboration underscores his commitment to development and improved infrastructure within the entire local government area.
In a symbolic presentation, the Chairman, along with Engr. Osarume Osazuwa, General Manager of CSDA, presented a cheque to the Iyora community head, marking the project’s takeoff.
According to Iyamah Nurudeen, Chief Press Secretary, Office Of The Executive Chairman, Etsako West Local Government Council, in a statement, as part of his commitment to community service development, the Chairman assured that all other communities in Etsako West Local Government Area will also benefit from subsequent projects requiring counterpart funding.
