… we’ll complete Iguobazuwa Road, other ongoing projects— Ighodalo

A gale of defection on Saturday hit the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP) as hundreds of their supporters dumped the parties and pledged alligiance to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the Ward to Ward Campaign Train of Asue/Ogie stormed Ovia South-West Local Government Area.

The campaign at wards 5 and 6 comprising Udo and Ora which was held at the Ezoti Primary School, Udo, witnessed the mass defection led by the duo of Roland Ohenhen and Ovie Ighofose. While Ohenhen led the defectors from the Labour Party, Ighofose led the defectors from the APC.

They hinged their action on the need to vote for an individual who has the competence, capacity, character and compassion to move Edo State.

The massive crowd at the Ezoti Primary School sang and danced in jubilation as the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo on behalf of the State PDP symbolically handed umbrellas to the leaders of the defectors, assuring them all of equal treatment and opportunities in the PDP.
