Ijeh’s message was contained in his appreciation extended to Mr. Chiedu Ebie for this initiative, of which a copy was made available to the press by Jerome Utomi, media aide to the chairman, Governing Board of the NDDC.

While he describes as gratifying the fact that Ebie’s effort is being acknowledged by the targeted beneficiaries, Utomi stressed that the latest goodwill message is coming few days after a similar one by the president, South Carolina Organization of African Unity (OAU), and United States of America-based Sir Tonna Okei (Ikuku Oma), where he in a similar vein stated that Mr. Chiedu Ebie’s led Governing Board and management of the NDDC is redefining public leadership in the Niger Delta region, through introduction of a paradigm shift that is transforming lives.

According to Ijeh, the installation of solar streetlights across Ika by Mr. Chiedu Ebie, has brought much-needed light to the streets, improving visibility at night, deterring crime, and promoting a sense of safety and community well-being.

Ijeh further noted that the installation of solar streetlights is a testament to Mr. Ebie’s commitment to the welfare of the residents of Ika community.
