An elderly widow and grand mother Mrs Roseline Akeni and her family have cried out for help following several threats and assault on her by suspected hired cultists in her Benin City home.
According to Mrs Roseline she and her family had lived in constant fear on account of the attack by two young men, Efosa Edosohan alias Black Edos and Collins Alega aka Allstar allegedly instigated by one Jennifer over alleged unpaid financial commitment made made to her by Florence Akeni, daughter of Mrs Roseline Akeni.
Trouble reportedly started when Jennifer who sponsored Florence Abroad alleged that she had breached their terms of agreement by refusing to repay what she spent in sponsoring her travelling to an unnamed country overseas.
Jennifer through her proxy cultists had reportedly claimed that Florence upon arriving overseas had made herself unreachable, pressuring her aged mother in Nigeria who knew next to nothing in the sponsorship deal to tell her daughter to cooperate with her.
The pressure which came in the form of harassments, intimidation and physical attacks, from Black Edos and Allstar sometimes in last year 2023, led to the knocking off two of Mrs Roseline’s side teeth leading to her being hospitalized.
The police which then went in search for Black Edos and Allstar, both members of deadly Axe Confraternity involved in violent crimes including murder, acid bathing of targeted victims.
The police action followed official report made by Mrs Roseline Akeni in 2023 was to seek for police protection for herself and members of her family following the constant assaults on them by the assailants
“Following the report made by Florence Akeni’s elderly mother and Mr. Jerry Ewomazino Ighedi (Florence ’s husband) the police investigated the suspects’ last known address and discovered it was vacant; Black Edos had gone into hiding.
“Nonetheless, a search of the premises revealed numerous incriminating items, including, fetish and occult materials; a cut-to-size shotgun; undiluted battery acid; black painted axes, and other documents tying Black Edos and Alister directly to the conspiracy against Miss Akeni”, stated a police report sighted by our correspondent.
The police according to the elderly mother then advised her and children to relocate to a concealed location because of the danger posed by these suspects, while they sustain their hunt for fleeing assailants the elderly woman reported that just five days ago when they thought all was going well, her son-in-law, Florence husband was tracked down to her worship place and deadly assorted inflicting deep cuts across his stomach areas and his whereabouts was currently unknown
