Gabriel Osho says he is elated with the opportunity to finally play for the three-time African Champions.
The Auxerre defender was invited by former Super Eagles coach Finidi George for the first time in March but could not make his debut due to injury.
He was included in the squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda giving him the chance to make his debut for the West African side.
During an interview with Super Eagles media Osho said, “I was invited before but couldn’t come because of injury and other things but when this invitation came, everything just align and I could finally join the team.
“I will just work hard as I can, that’s what the fans can expect from me every single game. It’s important for everyone to work hard.
“For me, it’s important to put hard work in everything you do.”
“The front line you see all the big names that are there, the country is full of talented players. It’s very competitive to get called up.
“It’s a great honour for me because I know their are a lot of quality players in the team.”
