Remo Stars midfielder, Tochukwu Michael had an impressive performance, as they extended their lead in the top of the log to 12 points, after a hard fought 1-0 win over Plateau United, on Sunday, in a Matchday 27 encounter.

The encounter which took place at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, saw the Daniel Ogunmodede’ led side bounced back from their mid-week defeat to Nasarawa United last Wednesday, to secure a vital victory.

Tochukwu, who started once again in the heart of Remo Stars’ midfield, had a brilliant game with his impact throughout the game as they overcome a tough Plateau United side, who are currently battling relegation.

The former Nasarawa United, Plateau United and Sporting Lagos midfielder is currently having his best season with the Sky Blue Stars, as they are close in on winning their first league title for the first time in the club history.
