Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has felicitated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and Senator Matthew Urhoghide, the Director-General of his campaign council, on the occasion of their birthdays.
In a congratulatory message released by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, Governor Okpebholo commended the leadership and unwavering commitment of Professor Yilwatda to the APC and to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
He also praised Senator Urhoghide for his contributions to national development and his service to Edo State.
The Governor described the celebrants as patriotic Nigerians who have left indelible marks in governance and public service.
“I join family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating two distinguished Nigerians, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda and Senator Matthew Urhoghide on their birthdays.
“These two gentlemen have consistently demonstrated keen interest and commitment in public service,” the governor said.
Governor Okpebholo highlighted the duo’s leadership acumen, saying they represent the values of progress, service, and resilience that the APC stands for.
He wished them continued good health, wisdom, and success as they continue to serve Nigeria and the party.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Edo State, I wish Professor Yilwatda and Senator Urhoghide a joyous birthday celebration filled with good health, happiness, and continued wisdom. May they continue to be a beacon of hope and progress for our dear country, Nigeria,” the statement added
