The Edo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Dennis Idahosa on Tuesday, April 21, invited the Nigerian Society of Engineers, (NSE), Oredo Branch, to the funeral activities of his mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa who died at the age of 95years.
Inviting them during a condolence visit to his office at the Edo State Government House, Idahosa stated that he wanted the Oredo Branch of the Society of Engineers to join hands with his family at celebrating the life of its matriarch who transited on April 8, 2026.
The Vice Chairman, Engr. Osayame Airhunwonde who led the entourage of engineers stated that it was a known fact that the deputy governor was very close to his mother just as he recounted ocassions where Mama accompanied her son to campaign grounds.
In hindsight he relived a political event where Mama had mobilized women, before the primaries and election that brought the deputy governor to office in her attempt to provide needed support.
