Team Nigeria have departed Nigeria for Morocco ahead of their Davis Cup World Group II tie against the hosts.
Players and officials of the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) left the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in the early hours of Monday, September 14, 2026, for Rabat, Morocco, where the two-day tie will take place from September 19 to 20.
Nigeria will be aiming to secure a place in the World Group II Tie Playoffs and also record their first-ever victory over Morocco in the Davis Cup.
The Nigerian contingent is expected to settle in Rabat and commence preparations ahead of the crucial tie, with both teams set to battle for progression in the competition.
The first serve is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, as Nigeria begin their quest to make history against the North African hosts.
