Benin-based humanitarian organisation, The Cloud Media Organization for Good Governance, Leadership and Economic Justice, will on Sunday, June 2, honour Bishop Dr Felix Owoha, the Founder/General Superintendent of Word Bible Church Int’l Inc., Benin City, with 2023 award of excellence for his contributions toward societal development.
In a statement by Comrade Lucky Efese, secretary of the organisation, the award ceremony as approved by the board of governing council, is to appreciate and acknowledge the roles played by individuals to bring the desired transformation to the doorsteps, especially at this period of harsh economic hardship, which has ravaged the country.
He said Bishop Owoha and others were randomly nominated and vigorously screened before they were certified fit to receive the honour, saying the awardees fall within various categories as approved by the governing council.
The secretary noted that the award is to honour excellence and exemplary leadership, which has culminated in total restructuring of the people to achieve their potentials and development of the state for positive change, maintaining that the main event will come up in December. He believes the award would spur the recipients to continually do more to assist the government to develop their environments and immediate communities.
