These Primary Healthcare Centers, now called Government Clinics managed by Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA), offer a range of quality services, from health promotion and prevention to treatment. Services such as general consultations, preventive medicine, and telemedicine are also now readily available.

The Health Insurance Scheme initiated by the Governor Obaseki administration, is also available at these facilities. This scheme aims to provide quality healthcare services at affordable rates, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for subscribers across the state.

The Government Clinics at Ovbiogie, Ugbekun, Idogbo, Evbuotubu, Ikhueniro, Aruogba, Oluku, Oredo, New Benin and Ogbeson are set as the standard for the way Government Clinics should be in Edo.
