The Grassroots Youth Football Development League (GYDL) entered its second round on the weekend of March 15, 2025, following an exhilarating first phase that featured over 22 teams competing in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories.

With matches spanning across Edo South and Edo North Senatorial Districts, anticipation is high for the coming weeks as young talents continue to shine on the field.

League Format and Progress

In this second round, eight teams in each category will play seven matches over the course of seven weeks. The top three teams from each category, along with the Edo North group winners, will advance to the Semi-Finals Knockout stages, setting the stage for intense and competitive encounters.
