BENIN CITY: Residents of Ogba-Evbuodia, Uholor, and Irhue Obagie communities have lauded Governor Monday Okpebholo for extensive road infrastructure improvements under the SHINE Agenda.
The ongoing Upper Airport Road project, which will connect multiple communities to Upper Ekenwan Road, is seen as a major boost for economic activity and local development.
Residents, including traders and landlords, said the road has eased movement, improved commercial activity, and enhanced investor confidence after years of neglect.
Contractor Engr. Tamiyu Ibrahim of Gladtrico International Ltd confirmed that most concrete works are complete, with earthworks and asphalt paving underway, promising timely completion and lasting impact for the communities.
