The Edo state police command have declared wanted one Zabayor Pius ,24,wanted for his involvement in homosexual practice with another male identified as Bright Ezedu ,31, in Benin city on November 30th,2014.

An witness in the community who pleaded anonymity said the the unholy and sacrilegious act happened in Bright’s house where they were caught by an unsuspecting neighbour who raised alarm attracting a large crowd including members of local vigilante to the apartment of Bright in Benin city.

Speaking further , the eyewitness said the angry mob of the community violently unleashed terror on the two homosexual partners .

The Nigerian Observer gathered that while Bright Ezedu and Zabayor Pius were being tortured by the angry mob for desecrating the land with the unholy act before the arrival of the police, Zabayor Pius managed to escape from the scene.

He was however given a hot chase by the angry mob but eventually escaped to an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, a statement made available by the police said a male suspect involved in homosexual practice was apprehended and handed over to the police for investigation on November 30th,2014.

The statement further said while the suspect has been charged to court to face charges bothering on breaching of the same-sex prohibition act of Nigeria, the fleeing partner, Zabayor Pius has been declared wanted by the police.

In Nigeria, the same-sex prohibition act forbibs anyone from the unholy practice of homosexual or lesbianism as offenders are liable to 14 years imprisonment upon conviction.
