UROMI – The Police in Edo are on the trail of some gang of Cultists who attacked the family house of one Felix Agbokhese,an unwilling Cult member, vandalizing same and threatened to return for their supposed target.
The Cultists were said to have in a gestapo manner swooped on the lone Agbokhese’s abode, vandalized same and shot sporadically when they could not find their target, Felix Agbokhese who sources say was lucky to have been away at the time of the attack following the bile expressed against him by the invading Cultists.
The Cultists reportedly left the scene but not without dropping a message for Felix Agbokhese that they would return to get him to do their bidding.
Felix Agbokhese, a student of Ebhoiyi Secondary School Uromi,is being hunted by members of a Secret Cult terrorising the Uromi and Ekpoma areas of the State over attempts to eliminate him for failing to carry out an ilicit assignment given to him by the Cultists who had forced him against his will into the Cult.
Sources close to the Agbokhese family revealed that Felix Agbokhese trouble started when he innocently approached a friend of his for help out of the bid by Elders of his Village to force him into Occult group which he resisted because his Christian faith forbids such practices.
The Elders of the Village were said to have called on him to take his father’s position,an offer he vehemently refused to accept.
His friend reportedly took advantage of his seaming desperation for help in bid to wriggle out of the religious quagmire which tended to cause him switch his faith from Christianity to animism, and the threat from the Elders to kill him if he refused to obey them,lured him into Cultism.
Since he wouldn’t have any of these,he reportedly informed the Police of the murderous activities of the Cult group who had given him an assignment to go kill a lawyer in Uromi,a task he reportedly refused to accept to carry out.
The source wondered why the Police who were in the known following several complaints made to them by the victim mother,Mrs Joy Agbokhese, “they turned deaf ears and blind eyes on the matter.
Meanwhile, Felix Agbokhese for fear of being harmed by the men of the underworld,has reportedly gone underground to avoid being killed by the Cultists who sources claimed had threatened to return to kill him or any of his siblings.
