The Edo state police command has declared wanted one Eboigbe Osakpolor. Matthew for his involvement in homosexual affair with one Joe Imade at 7. Ebo street in Benin city on March 3rd ,2015 .

The Nigerian Observer learned that the sacrilegious act of homosexuality between the two young men however led to the death of Joe Imade while Eboigbe Osakpolor Matthew narrowly escaped the mob attack.

An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity said that luck however ran out of the two men who were making love with each other and did not remember to lock the door when an unsuspecting neighbour walked in on them.

Trouble however started for the two men as a loud scream suggesting that an act of sacriledge echoed around the entire building thereby attracting a mammoth crowd of angry mob to the house.

It was gathered that as the crowd violently unleashed terror on the two men ,tempers were flaring higher as Joe Imade was hit on his head with a plank by one of the angry mob while Eboigbe Osakpolor Matthew managed to escape .

It was understood that Eboigbe Osakpolor Matthew was familiar with every nooks and crannies of the community prompting his easy escape as opposed to his friend who came visiting .

Reports which later emanated from the community indicated that the runaway homosexual ,Eboigbe Osakpolor Matthew had been into homosexual practice with Joe Imade from boarding school days as they both attended the same school together

Meanwhile, it was also gathered that the timely arrival of police to the house after the mob attack was able stop father of the deceased Joe Imade , Mr.Francis Imade from setting the house where the sacrilege was committed on fire as he came with thugs .

The Nigerian Observer however gathered that while Mr.Francis Imade had gone to immediately lodge a report with the police on the mob attack on his son,angry neighbours were seen discussing the sacrilege as others observed that the deceased Joe Imade who met his untimely death was a friend of the runaway suspect from his secondary school days

Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the mob attack which led to the death of Joe Imade while assuring that those behind the dastardly act would be arrested.

It further said that efforts have been made to arrest the runaway homosexual Eboigbe Osakpolor Matthew adding that it would leave nothing to chance in ensuring he is arrested and charged to court for contravening the Same-sex prohibition act .

In Nigeria, acts of same-sex affairs by offenders either as homosexuality or lesbianism attract a minimum of 14-year imprisonment if convicted in court.
